History:Ophelia was born into a prominent family with ties to the cybernetic industry. Her father was the founder of a company specializing in the development of carbon fiber cybernetics. His company supplied material and designs to major tech companies. Ophelia lived a privileged childhood in the sense that she never had to worry about a meal, but was never really close to her father. He was constantly away on business and neglected her mother emotionally. He was a man of few words, so she never really knew what was going on in his head. She had no idea that he was tied to a Yakuza who was rivaled by a very vicious gang. The only time she ever suspected anything was one instance when her father arrived home bloodied and battered and told her mother he had been mugged. Her mother was the favorite niece of the Yakuza her father had business ties with. Ophelia was oblivious to the inner workings of both her parents' relationships to organized crime until tragedy struck. There had been a business deal gone wrong and someone had to pay. The rival gang planned to target her mother by setting a bomb in her car. When Ophelia was a teen, she and her mother were set to visit family in mainland China and were getting into the car to head toward the airport. The bomb went off while Ophelia was headed back toward their house to grab something she had forgotten. Shrapnel from the explosion severely maimed her right arm and left a large scar on her back. Ophelia was rushed to the hospital by nearby neighbors, but it was too late for her mother. She was fitted with cybernetic arm after months of surgeries and therapy. Ophelia was sent to mainland China to live with relatives until the situation calmed down. She remained there until 2 years ago after extensively researching and learning about her parents' true connections to organized crime. Since moving back she has kept her identity a secret because many believe her to be dead. She is currently working for a small Yakuza while she hunts down the men who organized her mother's death.
